The DAAD Centre for International Academic Cooperation (KIWi) and the DAAD Information Centre Kyiv invite HEI representatives from Germany and Ukraine to a moderated virtual matchmaking event on 11 December 2024 from 3 pm to 4:35 pm (German time).

Cooperation in the field of education and research activities, curriculum development and knowledge transfer is of great value to institutions in Germany and Ukraine.

The planned matchmaking event is designed to help the participants to

• make initial contacts
• enter into a professional exchange
• network
• explore potential areas of cooperation.

The focus of the event is on active matchmaking. There will be no initial presentations by experts, but the participants have the opportunity to present themselves and their scientific interests in one of the breakout rooms corresponding to their field of expertise, to exchange ideas with colleagues and to make contacts.

We want to encourage the active participation of all participants.

The event will conclude with a summary and a short presentation of funding opportunities offered by the DAAD.

In order to further expand matchmaking possibilities, the event will be carried out via the virtual platform DAAD Events App, that can be used by the participants not only during, but also after the event to obtain contact information and to continue networking.
