    Requirements Applicants should have completed a minimum of one year of studies in engineering or computer science. They should be open to trying out different subjects of study and research as well as to experiencing European culture first-hand.

    Course content This three-week, full-time course of the Winter School with focus on computer science, information technology and electrical engineering introduces you to the most innovative training and research areas of the Technische Universität München (TUM). You are given the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the German research scene and to exchange experiences in a group of young, international students. You learn German intensively, are immersed in the culture of everyday life in Germany and visit hightech locations in and around this city.

    Language course
    The ability to use German for communicative purposes provides you with greater access to German culture. A comfortable working knowledge of German and familiarity with German culture prepare you for an increasingly international working environment. Language courses are offered at beginners', intermediate, and advanced levels.

    A series of interdisciplinary technical workshops in the area of informatics, information technology and electrical engineering

    Industry excursions, e.g. to production locations of BMW or Audi

    Culture and excursions
    The programme is rounded off with a cultural and social programme in and around Munich. Social events complement the daily experience and create opportunities to interact with German students at Technische Universität München.
