Special features library The library considers itself a teaching library: the students of most degree programmes receive course training on the subject of scientific work. Together with the compulsory first semester training and individual and personal support during thesis work, this results in a three-tiered model on the teaching of information skills. Special features University Sports The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. The programme includes many sports such as football, volleyball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition to these are fitness sessions such as a running group, ghetto workout, dance workout, Jump & Run, Bodyfit for Women or gym (circuit training). Various dance courses are also available.
