Combined Master's degree / PhD programme
Joint degree / double degree programme

With this intensive interactive programme, using our unique CORE teaching modular system, you will gain a solid foundation in all core management disciplines. The degree is designed for students with minimal or no previous management skills. The programme enables you to acquire a skill set that will maximise your career opportunities. In addition, the Master in General Management and Leadership programme has a cross-cultural, hands-on teaching method, providing the perfect balance of practical and people skills, enabling strong leadership skills with an intercultural exposure and offering opportunities for a successful global future.

Course organisation

The duration of the Master's degree programme is 24 months. The degree programme is divided into five-week blocks. There is an exam for each module in the fifth week. This ensures that competencies are acquired in a focused way. There are no semesters or trimesters (terms) as such. The programme contents are conveyed by means of case studies or project-based applications and include an integrated study abroad period.

Courses in the first academic year include the following:

  • Introduction to Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Operations Management
  • Corporate Finance
  • Sales Management

In the second year, students study abroad or do an internship and write their Master's theses.

The small student groups (maximum 25 students), the mentoring system, and the open-door policy as well as the renowned, experienced teaching staff guarantee special and very individual study conditions and attention.

Types of assessment

Ongoing performance evaluation at the end of each five-week block ensures continuous feedback and relieves end-of-semester exam stress. Our instructors can choose between 30 different examination methods to test different skills and competences, ranging from written exams and project work to role-plays, case studies, and oral presentations.
