The Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) is a joint initiative of Goethe University Frankfurt, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and Technische Universität Darmstadt. Operating in Continental Europe’s primary center for central banking and financial markets, the school offers Quantitative Master of Science (MSQ) and PhD programmes in the fields of economics, finance, management, and marketing. GSEFM researchers work on a wide range of subjects, also in collaboration with reputed public and private institutions, including Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund, KfW, and the World Bank. Students in the MSQ and PhD programmes have unique opportunities to take part in interdisciplinary research and joint coursework across all programmes.
GSEFM’s faculty members have a wide range of experience at universities and public institutions domestically and abroad. They are involved in key international research networks, contribute frequently with leading international publications, and in part are members of the editorial boards of renowned international journals.
Graduates of GSEFM regularly are hired for excellent positions in academia, international institutions, government, and the private sector.
