Wohnanlage HammerbrookHammerbrookstraße 42 a/b · 20097 Hamburg

Overview

The newly constructed housing complex "Hammerbrook" is close to the city and very close to a urban railway station. The universities (e.g. Hamburg University, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Hamburg University of Technology) as well as the inner city and trendy districts are only a few minutes away, thanks to good transport infrastructure. The new building offers accommodation close to the water.

The house has 215 modern furnished single rooms in 1-, 2- and 4-room apartments, as well as three disability-friendly single apartments on the ground floor. All apartments are equipped with fitted kitchens and shower baths for communal use. The rooms are about 17.5 square metres in size and have internet, telephone and cable TV connection.

Hammerbrook is one of the first residential complexes in Germany built as a low energy building compliant to the standard "Efficiency House 40". Its excellent connection to public transport is part of the concept of "car-reduced living". Residents may therefore not keep a car. Three disabled parking spaces are however available.
