The DAAD warns against spoof e-mails
Lately, spam e-mails with fake DAAD addresses have been circulating. Several sender addresses including „“ are being used. The fraudsters often refer to putative orders or outstanding balances of certain online traders (s. example). We would like to point out that the DAAD does not send E-Mails referring to orders or balances of online traders. As a rule, the DAAD does not circulate e-mails without specifying the contact data of the respective senders within the DAAD.
