Die nach jahrelangen Verhandlungen am 15.02.2006 unterzeichnete Erklärung über die gegenseitige Anerkennung von Studienabschlüssen wischen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Palaestinensischen Autoritaet, vertreten durch das palaestinensische Erziehungs-und Hochschulministerium, wird nun endlich für alle betroffenen palästinensischen Absolventen deutscher Hochschulen implementiert. Das DAAD IC Jerusalem bittet um Rückmeldungen nach erfolgreicher Anerkennung, bzw. um Meldung möglicher noch bestehender Probleme.
As from February 1st 2004 the Tawjihi certificate (Palestinian High School Leaving Certificate -"ilmi & "adabi" only!) is fully recognized in ermany. All Palestinian high-school graduates with a tawjihi certificate can take up their studies at any Germany University as soon as they have fulfilled the relevant language requirements.
Graduates with a scientific stream ("ilmi") tawjihi may apply for all fields of study, whereas graduates with an arts-stream ("adabi") tawjihi are limited in their choice to fields taught in the faculty of arts, economics, business administration and law as well as the fine arts.
