"Göttingen is indeed "the city of science”. For one thing, there were over ten other RISE interns in Göttingen. As expected, it was fun hanging out with them. We got together almost every day. Most of the weekends, we took advantage of the efficient rail system in Germany to explore several parts of the country. Those "weekend journeys‟ took us to cities like Hannover, Berlin, Dresden, Köln, Stuttgart, Munich and others. Traveling within Germany was fun, especially with the Inter City Express (ICE) because it made long distance journeys a lot faster. I saw museums, went on city tours, took photographs and I came to realize that it is a country with rich history".says Benaiah Anabaraonye from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, who did his internship at the University of Goettingen.
