(D)escribir la vida en Alemania
Desde septiembre de 2008 existe el DAADblog en el cual, actualmente, escriben tres estudiantes procedentes de distintos rincones del mundo sobre su tiempo en Alemania. Para el DAAD bloguean Ron de Israel y Alexander de Costa Rica, que están haciendo su doctorado en Berlín, y Lubos de Eslovaquia, que está estudiando ciencias económicas en Colonia.
El DAAD está buscando constantemente más estudiantes extranjeros que deseen compartir sus vivencias en Alemania con otros y escribir sobre ellas. Si usted tiene interés nos gustaría que nos mandara un correo electrónico.
Alexander de Costa Rica
Hi, I’m Alexander Araya, born in 1980 and a Costa Rican sociologist. I am an observer. I look at things, people, moments and behaviors. Passionate about photography since I was child, I have always been interested on the visual experiences of life .I was born in San José. Formed as a sociologist, I have been teaching about communication and mass media at the Universidad de Costa Rica. My reason to be in Germany is to study a PhD in Sociology at the Lateinamerika Institut at the Freie Universität Berlin.
My research focuses on the relation of youth cultures, social stigma and public spaces. Graffiti, parkour, capoeira, skateboarding and all contemporary juvenile collectives help to keep cities alive. At least, that is my point of view.

Lubos de Eslovaquia
Ich heiße Lubos Cechvala und komme aus der Slowakei, wo ich eine deutsche Partnerschule besucht und mein Deutsches Sprachdiplom erhalten habe.
Dank dem DAAD, von dem ich ein Stipendium bekommen habe, fange ich jetzt zum Wintersemester 2010/11 mit dem BWL-Studium an der Universität zu Köln an.
Ich möchte in diesem Blog über meine ersten Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse berichten, die man meistens macht, wenn man neu ist an einer deutschen Uni. Ich hoffe, dass ich dadurch denen weiterhelfen kann, die auch über ein Studium in Deutschland nachdenken und sich ein genaueres Bild davon machen möchten.

World Business Dialog
Letzte Woche hatte ich die Möglichkeit, mich ein wenig an der Organisation vom World Business Dialog zu beteiligen und muss eindeutig sagen, dass es eine sehr wertvolle Erfahrung für mich war.
