QoW: What’s your favourite German food?

In many parts of the world Germany has the nickname “Bratwurst country”. Also the country is known for beer, bread, black forest cherry cake, chocolate etc. But what do you like best? Do you favour a special kind of meal or is there something you could never ever gulp down? Tell us!
Enough food and drink sampling at Anuga? How about some German technology? Just outside Hall 8 of the fair, a mini Zeppelin was spotted hovering above our heads. Mir gefallen fast alle deutsche Speisen, esse gerne, ja muss ich sagen haha, Currywurst, Rotegrütze mit Vanillesosse, Apfelrotkhl, Sauerkraut…mmmm was noch ahah? jap Apfelstrudel, das esse ich am liebsten! Dazu noch alles mit Fleisch, bin ein Fleischfresser haha.

Something I tasted for the first time in Germany- and immediately loved- is Spätzle or Semmelknödel with Schweinsbraten and Rotkraut.
On a cold Winter’s day, a meal like that just uplifts the mood.
And of course, the great variety of different breads…yummy
