QoW: How do you like the German weather?
Starting today we will ask you every Monday the “Question of the week” or “QoW”. To reach even more foreign students, we decided to ask it in English. We’ll start of with one that is the perfect beginning for any kind of conversation. So tell us: What do you enjoy most about German weather? Are you a fan of colorful leaves like Nienke? Do you miss the heat, the moist air or the constant sunshine of your home country? What’s your favorite season and how do you prepare for the German winter?
The DAAD-team is looking forward to your response.

Enough food and drink sampling at Anuga? How about some German technology? Just outside Hall 8 of the fair, a mini Zeppelin was spotted hovering above our heads. Dear members of the DAAD-staff,
Concerning the beauties of the German wheather, I also like the colorful autumn. In my homeland the vegetation is mostly green practically all the year long beside of the desertical North of the country; so that we never have so coloful leaves.
At the moment I don´t miss the Mexican wheater, because at this time it is actually worst (cloudier, darker and equally cold) than the climate in Freiburg, due to the rain saison.

Hello everyone,
if I am at liberty to be quite honest, I miss the sunshine and the higher temperatures. Although, as I have mentioned, the autumn has quite bewitched me, Freiburgs latest weather forecasts don’t seem to have the same effect
I am certain one gets accustomed to the cold and wet of this beautiful country, but I haven’t yet reached that stage. I wont give up, though, and shall endure it further on
