New Year’s resolution: here I am!
Hi, colleagues, friends and readers!
Yes, for some time last year I didn’t write. First it was because the end of my German courses (and I would like to give as much as I could) and then was the beginning of my Master – it seems simple (and it is) but it is really time-consuming. Ok, it doesn’t justify my absence here but I was always thinking: “I have to write something great for my ‘return’…” but it was precisely this that made me procrastinate the post. Anyway, last year is in the past. I will concentrate in the present!
First, I would like to wish a wonderful New Year to everybody, especially for those who read this blog regularly
I wish unforgettable experiences for those who are moving to and from Germany. I hope they can enjoy this country and leave the best from both cultures. Exchange is not always easy, but it is always profitable – when you have an open mind. Problems will happen – fact! –, but the solutions are at your hands. I am – and I am sure my others colleagues here also – ready to help you with any kind of information you need. Friends and friends of friends are a very good sources of information. The bus line you need, the best place to live, the best place to eat will be hardly found in guide books. Explore what people have to say! Or, in other words, explore me…
I promise to write regularly – even if I don’t have anything “so” important I will write, because it might be interesting to you know “ordinary” things here as well. Yes, you may imagine this is one of my new year’s resolutions: it is. Actually I call it “whole” year’s resolutions, because I want them for the whole year and not only January. I didn’t plan concrete results for the blog, but I think it can be an important tool to share ideas. It is paradoxical these days, but it is quite difficult to debate “inter pares”. Although facebook, twitter and several others networks are fully online, they have a very limited capacity to share ideas. There are most of the times “too much” instantaneous. Indeed, blogs remain the most powerful tool to do so. I might be wrong or not… Let’s time say!
Well, I will stay here. I need to take my shoes for a walk! See you around!
And as it could be the end: auf Wiederblog!

After two intense days of the expo in Delhi, it is time for the DAAD delegation to head to Hyderabad. For me the journey ends here as there will be new Tandem Reporters in the new city. It’s been a roller-coaster journey for me. A great learning experience. On day one I was a bit [...]
by Aditya Yesterday, it was the walk-in fair. So many people pouring in. Young enthusiastic Indians thronged in large numbers with their curious parents. It was tiring yet amazing. Time went away like anything. It was nice talking to so many delegates. It’s really nice to know that they all are interested in talking to [...]
