New blog project has started!
On January 9 the city of Essen and the Ruhrgebiet were declared “Capital of Culture 2010″ . The DAAD wants to support this special occasion and starts its new blog project on www.kulturhauptstaedte.net today. Are you a foreign student studying in Essen, Duisburg, Bochum or any other university in the Ruhrgebiet? This is your chance to write about your experience, film, photograph or produce a podcast about your life in Germany and share it with others.
Also, we invite all Germans studying in either Pécs or Istanbul – the two other Capitals of Culture 2010 – to submit their contributions as well.
Your effort will be rewarded with a really cool limited t-shirt, making you a real “Kulturhaupstädter”. If your contribution is voted best by other users, you will also win a 50-Euro-voucher for Amazon every month.
