Letzte Woche erlebte die erste Vorlesungen an der Uni und begriff, was ein “Kampf um Sitzplätze” heißt. Da die Vorlesungen erst anfingen, wollten noch alle an denen teilnehmen und zwar immer an dem günstigsten Termin. Deswegen passierte oftmals, dass in einer Aula mit 320 Sitzplätzen in Wirklichkeit 400 oder auch mehr Studenten saßen, d.h. viel auf der Treppe. Zum Glück, wurde ich darauf im Voraus aufmerksam gemacht und kam immer etwas früher, um sich einen Sitzplatz zu “erkämpfen”.

Um uns den Einstieg ins Studium zu erleichtern, wurde an der Uni Köln so genannte Orientierungsphase eingeführt, die ich am letzten Donnerstag und Freitag absolviert habe. Das heißt, alle 900 Erstis wurden in kleine peergroups je 20 Leute aufgeteilt und jede solche Gruppe bekam zwei Mentoren von den höheren Semestern.
